There was a rumour about this on Neogaf just the other day wasn’t there, by the same guy who leaked that LA Noire was coming to Switch. I don’t know if I read that here or elsewhere but anyway, interesting to see one of these upcoming Direct rumours turn out to be true!

I understand Fire Emblem Switch, Metroid Prime 4, but the other games we have already some information about it.
I preffer to see something that they never announced.
Pikmin 4 has been in limbo for several years and we haven’t really gotten any official word about it other than the fact that it is apparently in development. I would love to hear something about Pikmin 4.

I’ll honestly be shocked if there’s any relatively large first party announcements for the 3DS. It seems the time has come where it’s biggest support will be from third parties until eventually it fizzles out as the Switch fully takes over.

I tend to stay away from gameplay videos or anything that would potentially ruin my experience with a new game but in Metroid’s case, I really need to see something.
It already has a rating, so it has enough content to show something off.

Sometimes i agree with you Kalas, i feel that if you want to say something you must go to the source (don’t take this as an insult or something bad), MNN nor fanboys, enthusiasts, loyalists or whatever they want to be called are the places to complain, just look what happened to Obinna.
I agree with you that Nintendo has to chance for the better, but look how things have been improving (???) little by little with kimishima at the helm. Yeah, the chat app sucks but i do not mind about online because if i want to insult somebody i’d rather to insult my local friends, seeing how Nintendo is today i’d dare to say that Iwata (RIP) should have been a tech advisor to the president like Miyamoto is nowadays. I try not to resort to insulting these people these days. But it just gets under my skin to see people belittle other people’s opinions because they don’t agree with that opinion. These self-centered people need to be reminded that their opinion isn’t the only one. I do know when to walk away, though, so I tend to limit my replies when face to face with a Nintendo fan extremist.

Best thing to do is to let them to see where the company is failing by themselves. Personally i am kind of happy with nintendo’s new management, they are open to improve little by little, what makes me angry is how they focus on one IP in this case splatoon…i’d like to see them treating other ip’s that way.
Just give them time, after all nobody saw doom and wolfenstein coming! And how nintendo isn’t developing as much casual games as the did during the wii/u era, corrext me if i am wrong but i think 1,2 switch the only one so far.

I use to be a fanboy & grew out of it. Hell! I’m done being a fan of any video game company as they are all the same at the end of the day: money hungry. So maybe there is hope for the others if they can manage to grow out of it some day.
Metroid Prime 3 controversy? I didn’t hear anything about that because I wasn’t paying too much attention to video game news sites back during it’s release.
During the mp3 development some gaming sites where concerned about the fact that Nintendo wasn’t promoting the game properly because they were focusing on the casual market. Now look how they are promoting the return of samus, they are doing a decent job with that but i hope their efforts will improve with mp4, as i said before kimishima loves metroid and if the series returns to greatness that will be because of him.

The politics behind the wii and the whole Iwata era were the Hal Laboratory ideology, just read the kirby 20th anniversary book and you’ll see and it.
Some people tell me that i hate Iwata, i don’t hate him, i agree with some of his ideas but forgetting about what made Nintendo a giant was a huge mistake, of course wii had to happen but after that they should have think bigger.

My wishlist is that all Musou games that’s currently JP only, get’s localized.
I’m gonna predict that Xenoblade 2 will be given a November release.
I also wouldn’t be surprised to hear something about Virtual Console and maybe an achievement system (since that was also rumored).
Either way, I’m excited to see what they show.
The achievement system is something that will probably popup during the direct.
But what I’m interested to know is the Nintendo Switch bonus from the My Nintendo site
I suspect the achievements and the MyNintendo rewards are the same thing.

YEEESSSSSSS……..so happy the leaker was right about this rumor. Time to see some release dates for some of these titles. I’m looking forward to seeing more info on some of this year’s upcoming Switch titles and hopefully some nice surprises along the way. Can’t wait :)

I think we’ll get some odyssey footage and samus returns and probably some more info on the 2nd dlc for botw. I doubt very much we will see anything of prime 4 yet. I wish we bloody would though

Not God Miyamoto switched but Star Fox on the Switch.
I want a star fox game directed by Kamiya, i remember that he lamented that he couldn’t direct zero because scalebound and look thigs ended with the later. Maybe zero would have been a different game with Kamiya on board…who knows?

Despite its flaws i liked star fox zero, maybe now with lord kimisima they will give not only star fox another chance but other franchises as well.
