September 22nd will see the release of the legendary Pokemon Silver and Pokemon Gold on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. For the collectors out there you’ll be wanting the packaged editions which are now available for pre-order at Amazon UK. Each game will cost £8.99 and will be available to you on September 22nd. You can pre-order the games, here.
- Box includes a download code for the game
- Pokemon Gold Version is making its way to Virtual Console on Nintendo 3DS family systems! These games, which debuted as Game Boy Color titles in Japan, are being recreated into Virtual Console versions such that their screens appear just as they did on the Game Boy Color
- Both titles will be compatible with the wireless communication features of Nintendo 3DS and Trainers can look forward to Link Trades and Link Battles between Virtual Console versions of Pokemon Gold Version and Pokemon Silver Version
- Compatible with Pokemon Bank
- Compatible with 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, New 3DS, New 3DS XL and New 2DS XL consoles
They might as well include a game card and raise the price by $5 or so, then I would be excited.
I just played Soul Silver not that long ago. Great game. Dunno why they wouldn’t just port that version…
Nostalgia.
You know, I think I may get this game. But I don’t need a box. Although, for those who want it, I can see the appeal.
Nerds buying boxed air SMH.
Then you go onto buying NBA 2K17 for Switch with the digital only copy in a box
Coolshop cancelled my order here in Norway because of “overdemand” .
First no manual in the box, and now no game in the box. This looks like it could catch on.
