A number of Lego Worlds owners on Nintendo Switch weren’t pleased with the original app icon for the game, which was criticized for being “too generic.” Developer Traveller’s Tales made note of the complaints and responded by issuing a patch to update the icon with more substance. You can check out the original icon below, followed by a picture of the updated version:
Seems a bit much to complain about it but to be fair it was a pretty lame icon
I thought they complained it looked too much like MineCraft
Can’t believe this is a thing. Who cares? It doesn’t affect gameplay. You look at it for all of two seconds? People actually complain about this?
Seeing as how they own a terrible game in Troll, Im not shocked
When I look at the other nice looking icons that show off other games, I can see why people complained because that original icon does suck hard. In fact, it kind of does look like something out of Minecraft to me. lol Besides, these things are like box art for those of us that get a game as digital only.
Hmm.. never thought of it as box art. Good point.
For someone like me, 2 seconds is all I need to hate the look of something, too.
||The real issue is why the scientists themselves never saw that bland pathetic icon before they released it in the first place…||
There is an even worse possibility for why the scientists never saw that bland icon.. and that worse thing is they could Like that pathetic icon!!!
I couldn’t help, but notice the Monster Hunter XX on the print screen. It will wash away the sour taste of Troll in no time.
That icon does suck. I’d want it changed, too, if that ugly thing was mucking up my home screen. lol
