Platinum’s Kamiya Retweeted The Nintendo Direct Happening Tomorrow

We’ve got a Nintendo Direct tomorrow to look forward to and it’s going to be around 45 minutes in length. Occasionally developers who have projects to show-off retweet the event and in this case it is none other than Hideki Kamiya from Platinum Games. It could mean absolutely nothing, but with the recent Bayonetta tweets there’s a slim possibility we could see something from them. We shall have to wait until 11pm UK time to find out!

      ||Indeed, and as a bonus, Scalebound for the Switch as a strike against the Xbot infection…||

Pretty sure that’s not possible since Scalebound was going to be a Microsoft published game. Platinum Games isn’t allowed to take that game to a different platform. At best, they could start working on a spiritual successor to Scalebound.

That’s Kamiya for you, though. Even if Bayonetta 3 was coming, he’d block people for asking about when the game is releasing after awhile of getting annoyed by being asked the same question over & over again.

  1. And just when you think this Direct couldn’t have any more hype behind it…….now Kamiya is tweeting about it….smh. Maybe a Bayonetta 1&2 Remastered collection and a W101 Remaster too? Or possibly a Bayonetta 3 tease??? I’m not trying to expect too much but either of these scenarios would be awesome if it happens

      1. Bayo 3 would be cool maybe just a teaser but i see that game as E3 type reveal, maybe i am wrong but i don’t remember big games that were revealed on a non e3 direct.

Again maybe i am wrong, recently i have been reading about TW101 and bayonetta 1 and 2 ports.

  2. Well this pretty much confirms that there will be something from Platinum games in this Direct. Bayo collection, maybe “Wii U collection with Bayo 1&2 and W101” or something new. Anything would be welcome honestly.

  3. I’m guessing a port of Bayo 1&2, and hoping they throw in some bells and whistles. Maybe add Amiibo support for both games. Something to make the port worthwhile to those who have already supported it on the U.

  4. Just announce that Smash port already! it’s been far too long since I last meteor smashed someone :( One of my favourite series, just announce some new modes/characters/stages. Would kill for a holiday release and would be so smart on Nintendo’s part. Never played a Bayo game in my life, but I know the fans are hungry for a new addition. Good luck!

  5. If Bayonetta 3 is announced, I’ll go apeshit.
But if it’s an upgraded port of Bayo1&2… Hell, if it was even just 2… I’d still go apeshit.

Not gonna get my hopes too high though.
Even though Platinum has been teasing Switch stuff for a while.

Classic Kamiya move. lol Bayonetta 3 will come when & if it comes. Constantly asking the guy the same question over & over & over is just gonna piss him off. But this is why I like him. He doesn’t take bullshit from anyone: even fans & consumers.

The Switch only guys would be in for a great treat if that game hit the Switch. Of course, the game is gonna really fuck with their feels during the second half. lol

I freaking love Kamiya. I like the fact he isn’t professional a lot of times.
