Doom 2016 Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Doom is returning to Nintendo. The 2016 Doom reboot was highly praised, but now you’ll be able to play on the go! If you’re planning on killing any demons on Mars, I think the Nintendo Switch will be the place to do it. This is another shocking announcement, but this seems like a particularly insane Nintendo Direct.

  3. This was a shocking announcement. Doom coming to the Switch is gonna be awesome. The portability alone is gonna make it a must buy….so thrilled

  4. Holy crap, I never saw that coming. Considering the game look very intense both content wise and graphically demanding. The Switch haters saying that it can’t run games like that. I want to see their faces now.

    1. If a GTX 670 can run it then Switchs Tegra X1 can run it. and Doom is barely tht demanding CPU wise. It only uses around 38% of my 4 physical cores (turbo boost off) most of the time. Plus the Switch supports Vulcan so we can get slightly more graphics while still keeping the 60fps.

  5. This was an exciting Direct ! So many things coming soon and things are being added to games we already have. Xenoblade and Doom have me excited as it adds nice variety to Mario, Zelda and Splatoon. For the first time in a long time, I worry if I have enough funds to get everything I want on a Nintendo console 😮

  6. King Kalas X3 {I only buy exclusives that interest me on Switch. For everything else that interests me, there is PS4.}

    I didn’t see this coming. *claps* Let’s hope the Switch can get other big triple A games. It might be another port that’s over 6 months old but fuck it. Congratulations, Switch. You might actually be able to match Gamecube in sales & great big name 3rd party support, or even better, if this keeps up.
