Best Buy Holding Midnight Event For Super Mario Odyssey

Best Buy has confirmed on its website that it will be holding a midnight opening for the highly anticipated Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch. It won’t be all stores holding a midnight event for Mario’s latest adventure, but you can view whether your local store is participating, here.

Be one of the first to pick up your copy of this Nintendo Switch game. Super Mario Odyssey will be available at select stores at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, October 27.

  1. As excited as I am for Super Mario Odyssey, I’m not excited enough to go to Best Buy at midnight just to get it. There will be plenty in stock at every store. So I’ll be going later in the day to get it. I can tell I’m older now. My younger self would have never been able to say those words. Young me would have been driving my family crazy talking about it, and drawing pictures. Maybe even writing a song about it. Hehe.

    But now, I’m swamped with games I haven’t got around to playing yet. Still haven’t even opened my Witcher 3 game yet (among others). And it’s not like I don’t have time to play them. My life is so weird now (why am I writing all of this?).

    1. lol I don’t even care mines will be digital and already have the money for it in the eshop account, so when 12:00 start I’ll hit the download button and go back to sleep

    2. King Kalas X3 {I only buy exclusives that interest me on Switch. For everything else that interests me, there is PS4.}

      You haven’t played Witcher 3 yet!? Sacrilege! lol Of course, I haven’t played Grand Theft Auto V & I’ve had that game for quite a while. I think I’ve had it for at least a year now.

    1. It’s even better if you buy a lot of games with the gamer club membership. Saving those points up as you buy all of the games you want does add up, I’ve literally spent nothing on some of the games I bought and I only paid 85 cents for both of the Bayonetta amiibos. paying $30 to get a huge discount on all games, both brand new and used, for two years and earning points that can be used for purchases online and instore is definitely worth it for any gamer, plus you save so much money in the long run if you’re the type of person who buy games regularly.
      After buying my games from BB, and sometimes Amazon if BB doesn’t sell it like certain retail exclusives, I’m confused as to why people still buy their games at Gamestop tbh, Gamestop is just ripping people off and treating their employees like garbage at the same time.

  2. Just signed up for the amazon credit card and got approved they give you a 50 dollar gift card and you also get amazon prime free for a month. My order total after the preorder discount and the gift card was $2.25 lol 😂

  3. King Kalas X3 {I only buy exclusives that interest me on Switch. For everything else that interests me, there is PS4.}

    I’ll most likely be getting this digital so I’ll probably be playing it long before any of these suckers getting it at Best Buy that night even get home with their copy! lol Unless I’m busy with Assassin’s Creed Origins instead which releases the same day, so I’ll have access to both before the clock strikes 12 am here. Both games are changing up the traditions so I’ll be torn between which one to start on first.
