also let’s be honest this is a ten year old game and has been the least hype game I don’t think Nintendo would care since you can already see the original gameplay on YouTube there probably worried about odyssey leaks

I disagree. This game shows that Nintendo is actually showing interest in the older games and their styles. They know that people want this sort of game again and a great to do this is to bring back the game that started it all but with updated graphics and the BIS battle system. This game might be the least hype worthy game for you, which I do admit is understandable with Odyssey just around the corner, but it means a lot to me and others.
If you would just read my comment I meant to everyone as a whole if you even paired Mario odyssey and super star saga in a poll odyssey would get the most votes, I’m happy to have super starsaga, I’m playing it as I’m talking about it please read what I said before assuming things, I was just speaking for majority I’m a minority that thinks this is great, while everyone else is going Gaga crazy over odyssey
Now my curiosity on how much has changed can finally be quenched.
It’s pretty awesome the minigames are a bit easy now the music is great (of course it would be good due to the gba audio) and there’s so much more there are generic sprites but who cares for most of bowser enemies oh and bowser plus minions is kinda good it the story is great and it pretty much explains bowsers whereabouts during the mainline adventure
Playing it right now, its an awful remake. A lot of sprites have been made generic and the music is horrible. Also the made they game way too easy with a 2nd timed hit and making item drop rates insanely high.
Stick with the original
I’ve obtained illegitimately, and I’ve played it to see how it’s like and what it’s data has.
But the thing is, I’m not excited about the game. In fact, though playing it, it’s flat 3D objects are very confusing and it’s very hard to know the depth of both Mario and Luigi’s position on the map. For instance, climbing up Hoho Mountain Trail is difficult, especially for a speedrunner. It would’ve been much better if the game used full 3D graphics, rather than single faced polygons. In fact, it even has no side facing polygons either, which makes me feel like the series has regressed in terms of 3D graphics usage.
No doubt, the person who leaked it would’ve been a reviewer who converted it from .3ds to .cia format then distributed it anonymously on Reddit. There’s no way Nintendo will know who leaked it, not unless the unique game card IDs remained intact (which they weren’t). More than likely, the ROM sites will be in danger of being taken down by Nintendo, unless they remove the leaks from those sites.
