Here’s This Week’s UK Charts

It is Monday which means it is time to find out how the various software releases have performed in the United Kingdom. In a move that shouldn’t surprise anyone, FIFA 18 has claimed the number one position. 1. 7th position isn’t bad in Sonyland and with physical delayed for a lot people. I really don’t know how much it will sell on Japan and America thats I want to know.
Look Capcom MvCi they don’t appear anymore and pokken still there.

  2. According to VGChartz (so take everything with a pinch of salt, but it’s a good rough indicator) FIFA 17 sold over 1 million physically first week in the UK last year, of which 1% is 10k. Compared to first week sales in the UK of Splatoon 2 (28k) and Mario Kart 8 (67k) I don’t think it holds up *that* badly. I am sure it will do a lot better on the continent which is generally a better market for Nintendo and still a great market for FIFA.

It should also be pointed out that Amazon UK for the last couple of weeks has been sold out of copies of FIFA 18 for Switch, and I’m pretty sure for a lot of people that’s the only place they’d look. They are getting in new stock October 9th so I’m sure more copies of FIFA Switch will sell that week.

    1. I agree, the lack of products (physical game) for the consumer would hurt overall sales for the Switch version.
Overall, I would assume the Switch version is meeting expectations for EA, especially how FIFA is marketed towards PS4.

  3. If it sold a million copies, that means 1% is only 10,000… Not sure how many it sold in the UK total, but that is not very good. I don’t it matters overall except for EA producing more games.
