Here’s A New Japanese Trailer For Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

A new trailer for Pokemon Ultra Sun & Moon has been uploaded today. This trailer focuses on the story and talks about how Alola has changed since last time. We also get to see some of the in-game cutscenes that players will encounter. The trailer is in Japanese, but Pokejungle has given a translation of what happens in the trailer. That, along with the trailer itself, can be seen down below. Feel free to check it out.

  • New mysterious character shown with the moustache’s name is Shionira
  • The text interspersed throughout the trailer reads “There has been a sign of darkness. This is no longer the Alola you know”
  • 0:08 – Kukui: “Yeah! It’s said that long ago when Alola was covered in darkness the people and Pokémon of Alola vanquished the darkness with light.”
  • 0:15 – Burnet talking about how rare it is to see cracks open up in the sky (Ultra Worm Holes)
  • 0:22 – Shionira: “Necrozma, the Pokemon that controls light…does it plan to steal Alola’s light?”
  • 0:58 – Guzma: “The enemy of my enemy is my friend, huh?” (literal translation: “So…it’s ‘keep the enemy alive, so we stay alive too, huh?”)
  • 0:59 – Gladion: “If mom dies as well…!”
  • 1:00 – Lusamine: “Get out of here…He’s…He’s a monster!!”

  1. Meh, still needs a battle facility that isn’t a battle tree clone to keep me interested after beating a game, a new Alolan form won’t hurt either. With how long the story is in SM, i probably won’t go back to these games for a future playthrough making gen 7 my least favorite of all the gens…

    1. King Kalas X3 {I only buy exclusives that interest me on Switch. For everything else that interests me, there is PS4.}

      While Alola is now one of my favorite regions, making Sun/Moon one of my favorite gens, I do agree the post-game is lacking. A lot better than X/Y’s post-game, though.

      1. I actually kinda liked the gen 6 “post game” in a way, the chain fishing gave me something to do while giving me countless of shiny water Pokemon. Gens 1 – 6 are a lot loss painless to replay as well since it doesn’t take at least 35 minutes to even get to a Pokemon Center. It’s a shame because there’s actually another team of Alola mons that I want to try out, but I don’t think it’s worth going through all of that again.

    No new Pokemon reveal? I’ll pass on this video then.
