The Nintendo Switch version of FIFA 18 is missing a few key features that exist in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the football title. One of the missing additions is the ability to play against friends online which is a big feature that’s missing in the Nintendo Switch version. Here’s the company’s simple response to Switch gamers:
FIFA 18 on Switch offers Local Seasons allowing friends to play against each other across two consoles in close proximity to one another, and we encourage those looking to compete online to take advantage of online modes on Switch including FIFA Ultimate Team, Online Seasons, and Online Tournaments.

Fast RMX didn’t have the option to play with friends online. But that was fixed in a patch not long after.
If an indie developer can fix that issue, then there’s no excuse that EA can’t fix this issues.

After hearing how badly they implemented microtransactions for NBA 2K18, a game that I actually wanted but changed my mind because of that, I don’t much care.
Perhaps Nintendo should release a Switch Pro just like sony and microsoft for the people that don’t care about the portable part and just want a solid home console with a full library like the other consoles. This way poor people can still play Nintendo and people who are willing to spend 300-400 on a powerfull console with a full library are happy aswell. For me the portable part is just a gimmick cause I will never use it unless i’m on holiday perhaps.nearly 100 million people bought a xbox and playstation for a reason so the market is big.
It’s a shame that I lost acces to great games like Zelda (my all time favorite) , Metroid , Mario ect. cause i’m not spending 300 bucks (+money for the actual games) just so I can play 5-8 games even if I could easily pay for it.

Look.. I only play on tabletop mode, and I love it. Cool nintendo gamees dont deppen on power… so if you want power just buy a powerful console… but dont ask nintendo to be like the others…
Don’t tell people what they can & can’t ask from a company that is in the business of selling to consumers. It’s in a company’s best interest to give their consumers what they ask for from time to time. If that happens to be a dedicated home console, so be it. Some of you Nintendo fans need to quit being so selfish & expecting the majority to get ignored because you faithful Nintendo minority are happy with whatever they throw at you like mindless sheep. A Switch Pro that is a dedicated, powerful home console that gets rid of portability isn’t going to hurt you as the regular Switch will still most likely get supported as I’m sure it will sell just fine to people that actually care about portability.
Maybe Blackbond is right about one thing. Maybe some Nintendo fans really DO hate options.
kalas, it would be a nice idea to have a pro version of the switch as long as they dont do what they did with the n3ds and make certain games exclusive to n3ds systems lol.
Sony didn’t do this with the PS4 Pro nor did Microsoft with Xbox One S and X, but this is Nintendo. They might be assholes & do this in an attempt to sell the Switch Pro. I didn’t think about that.
That sounds like a good idea. It’ll be a nice option for some of us to buy since some of us don’t care about the portable aspect of the regular Switch. But then we have people like ss213 that think we should be ignored because they like what they have. Damn Nintendo sheep.
