The latest edition of Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has divulged some more information about the upcoming Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. The information has been translated by NeoGAF member sinonobu. Enjoy!
- Not a sequel to S/M but the story with “different divergence”.
- The appearance of Ultra Recon Squad will change the story.
- Main Story with different development and there’s a new post game content after beating Pokemon League.
- People who are expecting minor changes like “Emerald” or “Platinum” should be expecting “Ultra Change”.
- There’s new game content where players can roam around the Ultra Hole and go to different dimensions.
- Capturing and raising Pokemon became easier compared S/M.
- In some of the dimensions that players go through “Ultra Warp Ride”, players will be able to encounter some Legendary Pokemons. One of the Pokemons player can encounter is Mewtwo.
- If one just compares the sheer length of the script, US/UM is twice as long compared to Sun and Moon.

Mewtwo, the mightiest Legendary Pokémon, has returned! OH YES! Hope he gives a tough battle, makes it more satisfying when I catch him!
Actually, Mewtwo is average in stats, because of the later generations, but Mega Mewtwo Y & X are the mightiest Pokémon…..until Arceus gets a Mega Evolution.

likely not. any content newer games in the same generation got were never added to older games, even when patching was an option. they want you to buy their new game

i just hopw they thought to add some new alohlan pokemon forms or just new pokemon.
Can we expect a Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 series VS Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood where the story is roughly the same til a certain point then the story splits into an alternate path? As long as the split isn’t too far into the game, I could potentially enjoy the Ultra versions as much as I enjoyed the originals if not more so.
