Super Mario Odyssey was assured to be a success for Nintendo but it may come as a surprise to some that it currently sits as the second best-selling game of Amazon’s Best Sellers 2017 list for video games. Interestingly, it’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which is top followed by Super Mario Odyssey and then The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in third. Amazing considering the install base of PS4. You’d think one of their titles would be number 1, but alas IP drives the business and Nintendo has the most popular 1st party games and therefore sell the most. It helps they don’t fuck up the main series titles too. Or at least haven’t lately…

Man, I would’ve thought BotW would’ve had it beat with it being a launch title for the Switch and it being on the Wii U as well.

Nintendo 1, 2 & 3. That says it all. Keep it going with lots of prime 4 footage at 2018 e3 and news of a new f-zero and new star fox, new dk from retro, and something to make us think, “wow” wasn’t expecting that!!
