Footage of the new Pokeball New 2DS XL was uploaded to Reddit recently, and it shows off one interesting detail that was not known until now. It turns out that there is a working button in the middle of the handheld. Although it doesn’t do anything, it indicates the amount of attention to detail that Nintendo gave the handheld. It’s likely that this is only the beginning of people seeing what this handheld has to offer, so don’t be surprised if other things are discovered in the near future.

3D design choices seems to be the direction they’re taking the special edition 2DSXLs. The slime on the Dragon Quest one was nicely detailed as well.
