The CEO Of Ubisoft Says They Plan To Release More Switch Games

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently confirmed at an earnings call that the company is planning to release more games on the Nintendo Switch. All Guillemot said was that “we will have some Switch games next year”, so we don’t know if they’re referring to the calendar year 2018 or the fiscal year 2018. We also don’t know if Guillemot is referring to Steep and Battle For Atlas, two Switch games that Ubisoft already announced for a release in the near future. GameSpot says they are following up with Ubisoft to find out. In the meantime, Guillemot says that they’re “very happy” with the Switch sales so far.

  1. Ok, I’d like a NEW Rayman and a Mario + Rabbids sequel. Oh, and if you’re into more crossovers a spin-off Zelda game made like Assassin’s Creed where you play as a Skeikah tribe member could be cool.

      1. Tell me, how many games those treasonous fucks made for the Switch? I count 4, 2 are Just Dance (GTFO with that), one is a crossover nobody asked for while making so many people scratch their heads and the other is a painful reminder of how they treated Nintendo fans from Wii U launch. I’m surprised they didn’t gimp/delay the same game twice.

  2. Ubisoft if you’re gonna really support the Switch this time around I urge you guys to not put just Just Dance and some middleware games on the system. We want AAA games like…….

    Assassin’s Creed Origins
    Watch Dogs 2
    Wildlands
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
    Beyond Good And Evil 2
    An 3D Rayman title
