Zelda Breath Of The Wild Version 1.3.4 Out Now

There’s a new patch for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild taking the game to Version 1.3.4. It’s not a particularly exciting patch as it just deals with bug fixes that the team has uncovered. However, with the second The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild downloadable content pack coming soon it undoubtedly helps pave the way for it.

Various fixes to improve gameplay.

  1. For the love of god, add a Casual Mode!

    Don’t force players (especially people who pay real money for this game) to “get gud” in the only current Zelda game out right now. I’ll even fork over $20 for it!

    1. this isn’t even a hard game dude. it’s really easy actually.
      if you’re having trouble in the game you should get good armor (you can buy armor in towns) and upgrade it at the fairy’s fountain (you’re practically invincible after this)

      1. If this is like the Metal Man series, where things get easier, then you may have a point.

        I just wish I had a demo of the game.

    2. }{ That is like asking for an easy mode for Mario 64… The game isn’t challenging, although it does require some basic video game prowess to complete… Honestly, if you’re struggling to beat Breath of the Wild, I might suggest you reconsider what kinds of games you play, as you would appear to be a member of the Mobile army more so than a Console Peasant… }{

      1. I beat Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, OOT, WW, and Majora’s Mask.

        I haven’t bought (let alone played) this game, I’ve heard people do nothing but boast that this game is good BECAUSE it’s so hard. Normally, a game like DarkSouls (or Nintendo console equivalent) I would ignore because it’s not for me, but this is The Legend of Zelda: one of Nintendo big IPs, and a series I stuck with since ALTTP.

        I do not want to shell out money on a game if I can’t beat, get kicked around like a cheap rag doll, cheap death after cheap death, Lynel after Yiga after Lynel, every weapon I collect becomes meaningless (since they can perish), to the point where I can be left naked (save for your starter boxers, since this is a Nintendo game) with barely any health left.

        And if have to outright avoid enemies, how do I progress through the game?

      The game is actually pretty easy if you upgrade your armor & if you cook certain foods that boost defense and/or attack. Following the story also makes the game easy. If you are going to a desert after leaving the Great Plateau, you are definitely going the wrong way if you want an easy journey.

    4. It don’t need that, you clearly haven’t played the game so you shouldn’t comment on it.

      It’s not hard by any means, people just have different standards nowadays. It’s like saying Majora Mask needs a casual Mode since of the 3 day system but it was exactly what made it stand out and being original. Simply because you read online that it’s akin to Dark Souls, that doesn’t evaluate it. It’s such a niche ting to say, the game is just different and maybe less forgiving than let’s say WindWaker but what people praise it for, is that it doesn’t hold your hand throughout the whole game. You just act on your own principles and not what the game has planned for you.

      Or at least 2 save files. (A New Game+ option would be nice for those of us that don’t want to hunt down star fragments or Korok Seeds again.)
