The news of Bayonetta 3 was huge, but that wasn’t all that Nintendo confirmed at this year’s Game Awards. If you haven’t played the previous two Bayonetta titles, then you will be able to play both Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 on Nintendo Switch soon. Bayonetta 1 and 2 are slated to release on the Switch February 16th, 2018. As for the reveal trailer, you can check it out down below.

  1. I suppose I should try these games out when they hit. The first quarter is always dry on game releases which gives me the perfect chance to try things out that I missed.

  2. I’m not surprised about this, lets face it this game needs a new life. I am probably going to pick this up since i never actually played bayo 2, i only bought bayo 1 on wii u and it was fun but I never got around to finishing it so i never bought the second one but seeing as now i want as many single player games in my switch library im probably buying this.

  3. Excellent decision by Nintendo. This collection will serve as a great appetizer until Bayonetta 3 arrives. So happy :)

    1. Infinite Kalas X3, The Sonyendo King

Better be asking Square Enix, actually, as they own the IP. PlatinumGames was merely the developer for Automata.

  4. Infinite Kalas X3, The Sonyendo King

I’d ask but I doubt those that got the first two on Wii U digitally will be able to get it for a discount, or for free, on the Switch if they have their NNID linked to their Nintendo Account. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the exception, though; least when it comes to being free, anyway, as the exclusive content is worth at least some money.
