Here’s The Top Rated Games Of 2017 According To Metacritic Data

It’s approaching that time of year when all the publications post their best of the year lists. Metacritic seems to be the leading review aggregation site so Reset Era member Phantom Thief has done a bit of digging and has published the highest rated games of the year. Here’s how it was done:

Please note that I did have two considerations while I was going through this list:

• For any game with multiple versions, only one version is selected and on this list
• Any game with less than 10 reviews was not considered

The second rule didn’t actually come into play in the first list (it does in the second list), but in the interests of transparency, I figured I’d lay it out anyway. So, without further ado, these are the games:
