Great news for fans of the now defunct Nintendo Power as it has now returned as an official Nintendo podcast. Nintendo of America tweeted the news on their official Twitter account and it is hosted by Chris Slate. Here’s all the details you need to know!
In this debut episode of Nintendo Power Podcast, host Chris Slate looks back at the Nintendo Switch system in 2017 with Kit Ellis, co-host of Nintendo Minute, and Damon Baker from Publisher and Developer Relations at Nintendo of America. Chris then discusses the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the game’s producer, Mr. Eiji Aonuma, and director, Mr. Hidemaro Fujibayashi.

It’s cool that Nintendo aren’t letting the legacy of Nintendo Power die, but Nintendo’s PR team are cringy as hell. I can never get myself to watch more than 10 minutes of any treehouse stream.
Treehouse people aren’t necessarily PR people. As I’ve understood, the people playing the games on the Treehouse Live streams are actual localizers etc. people who work on the games, not PR people. They aren’t trained to be on camera. They are natural.

And here I was joking that Nintendo Power would return when net neutrality got repealed.
