A brand new article by 4gamer has been posted that features various developers looking back at the year. They also offer small previews of their plans for 2018, many of which suggest game announcements. One of the developers that 4gamer spoke to was Capcom’s Motohiro Eshiro. Eshiro revealed that they will “continue working on something that will make Ace Attorney series fans happy” in 2018. Eshiro also says that “we’re currently coming up with a new title”. Here’s what Eshiro had to say:
“I believe we’ll continue working on something that will make Ace Attorney series fans happy. We’re also currently coming up with a new title, so personally speaking I think it’ll be a challenging year.”
I’m all ears, more so if I can get a physical copy of the game.

Spirit of Justice’s ending does hint at that.
I wouldn’t have really minded if they didn’t tease it at the end of Apollo Justice, 10 years later, two games that never brings it up, only to have it randomly teased again. Nick could’ve at least told them before Apollo decided to move to a foreign country.
