  2. What about sales of the highest selling system confirmed by the manufacturer, the DS? Sony never said the PS2 sold 155 million, they only said it sold 150 million, and ESTIMATES put it at 155, while Nintendo does claim the DS sold 154 million. How’s this doing compared to the DS? The DS in 2008 sold 31 million systems. Is the Switch going to match the DS’s sales in 2008? If not, then it’s not a successful system.

    1. I believe it had quite a few months in a row where it was selling more than the competition. Then there was Black Friday where it was apparently the hottest item online but some how the PS4 managed to be the biggest selling item for that weekend (not sure in just gaming or overall). I also remember reading something like PS4 and XBOX One (X?) sold more this Black Friday than they did on their respective launch dates but I’ll be honest, I don’t know who came out the overall winner in November for the month in North America but the Switch has been performing rather nicely in N. A. So far this year ;)
