In a rather surprising but welcome turn of events, at the beginning of the month, Nvidia, iQiyi and Nintendo announced a special partnership to bring select Wii titles to the Nvidia Shield. The device will play popular PC games as well as Wii games that will be accessible in China. Nintendo and Nvidia have now released a sleek trailer showcasing some games being played on the device and you can view it below:
Watching that video I kinda want a wii mini, but with all of the Japanese games that never released in the west. The best wii and GC games never came to the west so unless you knew how to play imports on the wii and GC you kinda missed why the GC and Wii were so great during their time.
Fatal Frame IV, Zangeki no Reginleiv, Ougon no Kizuna, Mobile Suit Gundam MS Front 0079 and Earth Seeker are just a few wii games the west missed out on.
Not to mention the awesome Xenoblade Chronicles, that almost didn’t make it to the US.
Chinese cracks me up XD
it’s so weird seeing xbox buttons displayed in an officially licensed zelda game
Can anyone buy this, or do they have to compete with scalpers & low supply?
