Rivals Of Aether Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

The arrival of 2018 hasn’t stopped an endless stream of Switch game announcements from happening, especially from indie developers. The latest is in regards to a game that we reported on late last year. The dev team behind Rivals of Aether recently did a developer’s preview for 2018, and they talked about bringing the game to more platforms. They made it clear that the Nintendo Switch is a priority, confirming that the game would be coming to Nintendo’s new console. Here’s what they said:

Finally in 2018, we will be looking to bring Rivals of Aether to more platforms. These won’t be happening until we have completed the Definitive Edition as that is the version we plan to bring to consoles. Right now we are prioritizing the Nintendo Switch as we are currently looking into developers who can help us port the game out of Game Maker Studio so we can release on the Switch.
