      1. Commander I see that you have been on this site since 2013 (perhaps even longer since I only checked some posts of Zelda Wind Waker HD and some of Pokémon from that time). I also saw on some of those posts others like Demigod (his username was lol at that time), N-Dub Nation (his username was N-Dub|Svenson), Jadeddrybones (which hasn’t been seen for quite some time) and Mike S.

        1. Nintendo First Order Commander Quadraxis

    1. I agree that it needs a replacement, but not this soon after Switch launch when they should be focusing all marketing attention on the Switch. The 3DS sells itself still. Why would they discontinue a platform that outsold PS4+PS4 Pro last week?

    2. It’s hard to let an install base of 60+ million go, not to mention the system sells better then PS4 most weeks.

I agree it’s tough to balance game production between the Switch and 3DS, one if not both suffer. But it would be foolish to ignore such a huge and still growing install base.

      1. Theyre already ignoring it. Just look at the release schedule. Pretty much no big games are coming to the 3DS from first parties and sales are on a downward trend since the release of the Switch. I bet you think Sony should’ve stuck to the aging PS2 as well just because it sold more than 150 million. Same for the DS.

  1. 17 of 20 are games for Nintendo platforms…. now wait for the Smash Bros. and Pokemon games for the Switch, the people will simply go crazy trying to get their hands on a system. it will be amazing. at least in Japan, they are Kings again, it´s not about how many systems have you sold, but building a solid fan base (on the contrary of what sega did) and Nintendo is creating new fans, bringing back their old ones… again. It´s amazing.

  2. It’s sad to see Mario Party the top 100 be something that wasn’t supposed to be (I’m talking about the turn system which is a shadow of its former way). I hope Konami losses Hudson for what they caused to the Mario Party franchise (yes I know they aren’t the only ones to blame).
