As much as I love RWBY, and love how they are including the main characters in this game, RWBY really deserves its own fighting game.
Except two of it’s main cast are paid DLC, so the inclusion of them is rather poor to say the least
Stumbling out of the gate with half of the roster locked behind a paywall. Nah mate, I’ll just wait for Guilty Gear.
Guilty Gear does DLC characters too. In fact, pretty much every anime styled game these days goes bananas with DLC. That said:
BlazBlue >>> Guilty Gear.
Never saw GG lock half its roster behind DLC. A few characters yeah, but not 20. And sorry, can’t agree with you on the last bit, I see Blazblue as Guilty Gear’s try hard edgy little brother, never really liked it.
” I see Blazblue as Guilty Gear’s try hard edgy little brother, never really liked it.”
You see Blazblue as try hard and edgy, but *not* Guilty Gear?……
How? They’re very similar, and in what differences that exist in style, GG is far more grimdark edgelord. I just far prefer the mechanics of the characters in Blazblue.
“. A few characters yeah, but not 20.”
And while we’re at it, this isn’t a main series Blazblue game, but a spinoff game. Not really apples to apples. The mainline Blazblue’s generally have a similar number of dlc characters, 2 or 3.
It’s so absurd that they did that. I’d understand maybe 5 characters, but half the roster!?
What the heck were they thinking!?
We can manipulate the fans of three different franchises to pay us more money. That’s probably what was going through their heads.
20 characters locked behind DLC? Half the entire roster?
This some EA level DLC scumming right here
Where are the jojo characters. (lol JK) but seriously i would like to have a stand and persona fight.
