The latest Japanese video game charts are now in courtesy of the team over at Media Create. There was a big post-holiday drop for the Nintendo Switch which only sold 37K units this week compared to last week when it sold 146K. In fact it was outsold this week by Sony’s PlayStation 4. Hardware sales were pretty much down across the board. Here’s the best-sellers this week in Japan:

Holiday season is over, so the sales aren’t very surprising.
Hopefully sales don’t stay this low forever now. Or all hope is lost for the Switch.
How would it be the end for switch? Even this week being a off week for it it’s still out pacing the PS4. Not to mention it’s the fastest selling console in US and Japan ever. Also, this is a matter if opinion, but I think since Japan smaller population wise then other places, it’s possible lots of people already have them considering the sales numbers from 2017.
Ps4 outsold The switch on this week wake up.
Thanos, he means overall in the same time frame
I still can’t figure out why Japan calls the 2DS XL and 3DS XL the “LL”. Makes no sense.
Large ,Large kkkkkkkk
it’s literally ‘large large’
Nintendo will have to keep better stock than this. Expect PS4 numbers to be on the rise throughout the month, with MHW inbound.
XC2 is still chugging along. Nintendo has to be happy with the franchise’s growth.
Out of ammo?
