  1. Have anybody played any of this or have an idea if this season pass is worth it? After 90 hours in the game I’m not sure if the $30 season pass brings enough compelling content, but I’m curious to hear what someone who owns it has to say.

    1. It’s hard to say at the moment as we’re only a couple of months into what is going to be several months of new content. Nothing so far has been earth shattering but there is a bigger story section coming later in the year and new rare blades being added so that is where the main stuff of value will be.

      1. I think I’ll wait until the big chunk is added to better be able to tell. I think in general the sidequests tend to be bland and boring, aside from the Rare blade quests.

The Vess sidequest was probably the best in the game.

      1. I won’t link my review here to avoid being spammy, but I think overall it is a really good game if you enjoy JRPGs and anime, because it is essentially like playing a 90 hour anime.

Fortunately I love both those things and so was able to power through some of the bad parts of the game to get to the good.

Good story, cool characters for the most part, and a fun battle system filled with combos get drug down a bit by bad menus and a confusing map.

    1. Honestly I wish more games had that- I encountered two wild glitches in Yooka-Laylee- one that saved me when it should have killed me and another that got me stuck and thinking back to Game Grumps’ beautiful little moment.

      1. At least Yooka-Laylee had an excuse not to have Video capture right away.
It was a third-party indie title.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the other hand is a Nintendo exclusive game. Those are usually the ones that get Video capture at launch since version 4.0.0 (which came out in October). This game should’ve had it by the time it was released.

  2. I’m waiting for the performance patch. That should have been part of these first few updates.

Once I see DLC for those who have completed the game (expanding the story, not just new game+), I’ll decide if I need it to pay up.
