512GB MicroSDXC Card Scheduled To Launch In February

Good news for those of you who are looking to go completely digital with their Nintendo Switch as Integral Memory have announced that they are bringing out a 512GB size microSDXC card. Currently the biggest memory card is SanDisk’s 400GB memory card which launched last year. Here’s the details with pricing to be announced at a later date:

Integral’s 512GB memory card has a Class 10 speed and a maximum transfer speed of 90MB/s. It is compatible with UHS-I standard.

    1. It will but this means the other models will drop in pricing. 128GB will then be $40-50, 200GB at $70-80 and 256GB possibly around $100 or less.

        1. That’s just the thing about SD cards. It’ll drop in price dramatically in short time or if you’re lucky, you’ll find a sale somewhere that suits you.

  1. Yes!!! It’s just nice to be able to launch games from the start screen. Especially with games like Zelda, Skyrim, dark souls and eventually Pokemon. RPG on the go!

    1. There’s a difference between something being overpriced and something costing more than is practical. The newest technology is always expensive, and it’s rarely an issue of them just arbitrarily setting a high price point.
