ARMS Has Now Been Updated To Version 5.1

Nintendo Switch owners will be pleased to hear that ARMS has been updated today to Version 5.1 which has added a gallery feature, tournament mode, and new badges. Thankfully Nintendo has released the patch notes so we know exactly what has been changed and what hasn’t. You can view those below.

Version 5.1

  • Added new “Gallery” feature. Unlock amazing illustrations using in-game currency, or by fulfilling certain conditions.
  • Added new badges.
    • Added badges earned when certain pairs of fighters rack up battles together.
    • Added badges earned by repeatedly using each ARM.
    • And so many more!
  • New additions to Party Crash.
    • ARMS Labs have manufactured the ultimate version of Hedlok. It will appear only in Party Crash.
    • ARMS Labs have thought up some new Bonus Periods. Look out for them!
    • If a featured fighter is losing by more than 1000 points in the current lobby, the bonus for using them will increase from 1.5x to 2x. Time for some comebacks!
  • Added “Tournament Mode.”
    • A mode made for tournaments with all ARMS unlocked.
    • When in Tournament Mode you will be unable to play other modes such as Grand Prix or Ranked Match, and you won’t receive badges or in-game currency. Records will also not be recorded.
    • You can switch between Normal Mode and Tournament Mode on the Top Menu by holding in the R Stick and pressing L and R.
  • Fixed an issue where Dr. Coyle’s extra ARMS would not fire correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ramram would stop moving in mid-air.
  • Fixed an issue in Skillshot, where the Tribolt would fail to return after punching.

    1. I actually have nothing to say against Arms. It doesn’t interest me the slightest and that’s all I will say. Besides, I see this fighter gets a hell of a lot more content/support/update than that pathetic ass Pokken game so, Arms is more worth the buck and time in case you’re wondering how I feel.

        1. But there comes a time when I notice Pokemon starts to slip. Starting with the anime being so predictable. Then came the movies. Followed by the games getting stale after Gen 4. Now this. I’ll call out BS and lameness when I see it. I love Pokemon but I’m no idiot fanboy. Well, not anymore after that goddamn 2015 E3 woke me up.

      1. They did say they’ll eventually stop supporting with once it’s kinda complete but it’s nice to see more updates for it that actually adds to the game without strings.
