Hit indie platformer Celeste has sold the most amount of units on the Nintendo Switch. Developer Matt Thorson, creator of Celeste, recently spoke to Destructoid to confirm the news. The game has sold well on all platforms but proved to be most popular on Switch.
“The Switch version of Celeste has sold the most, and that’s what we were expecting. We feel like Celeste and the Switch are a perfect fit for each other. We are glad we launched on all consoles though, and we really appreciate the support we’ve seen across the board.”
More good news for the Switch being the premier sales magnet. :)
Well yeah, it was the only console it was advertised before. Never saw Celeste in the Sony Direct.
Sony had a Direct?
No.
Platform games blend well with Nintendo demographic. Also, as was the case with many more games, the portability is a major selling point.
makes sense

Yeah Nintendo is doing good announcing all these Indies and that’s a big part on why they are selling. Sony and Microsoft barely make any mentions and they have so much games on their networks so the games will just get lost from week to week and like others said portability too
The Switch has done it again, seeing the haters suffer from this never ends
