It’s been a bit of a bumpy ride, but now toy maker Zappies says that there is a new Sonic Racing title coming this year. You may remember that SEGA recently denied that there’s a new Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing game coming, but this toy maker claims there is. We know that the developer Sumo Digital is working on a new ‘Kart Racer’ from a ‘Global IP’ so this is most likely what they are working on.

considering that they have Yakuza, Persona and the rest of Atlus’s catalog (as well as their own) Sonic Mania also amazing, this statement is just not true

Considering how fast SEGA jumped to Twitter after the rumours popped up, I’m going to say it’s likely they were a little desperate to try and cover it up. Had I been SEGA, I think it would have been better to say nothing.

Never hurts to have decent Mario Kart alternatives (especially when you already own the Wii U version and don’t want to buy the same game again).
And this game is a godsend compared to the majority of shovelware kart games on the Wii.
Would nice to make a Mart game that makes sense because many ask to this day why Sonic is driving a fucking car? Piloting his plane I can understand but a car?
Also, this isn’t the Wii and I don’t see any other relevant kart games besides Mario Kart. I want Double Dash or it’s mechanics to come back. That shit was a blast to play.
