The PlayStation 4 version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 had a one year head start on the platform but that hasn’t stopped the Nintendo Switch version from outselling it. The Nintendo Switch version has sold 110,217 copies and the PlayStation 4 version has sold 108,227 copies as of last week in Japan. Interestingly, it would appear as though Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on Nintendo Switch may soon beat the original Dragon Ball Xenoverse on the PlayStation 3. This would make it the highest selling Dragon Ball home console game of all-time in Japan.

I remember not long before Xenoverse 2 Switch released people asked about that and they responded to the effect of “Let’s focus on Xenoverse first”.
Xenoverse sold really well, so maybe there’s hope.
Well with this news like this, Namco will know in confidence that Dragonball Z series has a place in the Switch.
