Mega Man Legacy Collection 1+2 For Nintendo Switch Coming May 22nd

The official Mega Man Twitter account has confirmed today that the long-awaited Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on May 22nd. The account also announced that it comes complete with amiibo support and also new features. You can read the full details on the official blog. For now check out the trailer in the tweet embedded below.

You can enjoy busting ‘bots anytime, anywhere when both collections arrive as individual digital downloads on the Nintendo eShop and as a combo package at retail in North America this May.

      1. While you’re probably right, it could have been that they didn’t get around to finishing the ports of 7-10 until after they started production on the carts, so rather than delay they made it a download. That’s not really better, but it might not be a space issue.

  1. This is good news as I lost the game cube collection some years ago. That and the fact that I never played Megaman 9 and 10 makes Megaman Legacy 1+2 an ideal purchase for me.

  2. I’m not sure why this has to be a bundle. I’m sure that every game can fit on one cartridge. But whatever. Instant purchase for me. This is why I put off buying the PS4 versions.

Speaking of Switch games, I really wish that Nintendo would put a slot in the cases for a micro SD card. What are people supposed to do with those tiny micro SD cards when they take them out of the Switch?
