The Pokemon Company’s Pikachu Talk skill for Amazon Echo is now available over here in the west. The Alexa skill was previously only available for Japanese Amazon Echo users but thankfully it’s now available in the west. You can enable to skill for your Amazon Echo, here.

If it’s your special day, Pikachu can “sing ‘Happy Birthday to You.’ ” Even something silly, like “say ‘pizza’ ten times,” will get Pikachu chatting! Using this feature to have Pikachu tell me a story made me laugh out loud. It’s hilarious.
