Japan: Nintendo Switch Sells 39K And Nintendo 3DS Sells 11K

It’s Wednesday so it is time to find out how the various software and hardware releases have performed this week in Japan. It’s been a decent week for the Nintendo Switch as it has toppled the PlayStation 4’s reign at the top of the hardware charts for the past few weeks. Nintendo Switch software sales are good as well as Splatoon 2, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey continue to sell well. Here’s the best-sellers this week in Japan:

    1. There’s tons of options in games and plenty more coming. You asking for a bit too much on one little thing. Oh and to answer your question; Skyrim. It’s as close to BotW as it’s gonna get for now.

    2. Personally I like Skyrim just a little bit more because of the RPG elements. The funny thing is when I first played Skyrim in 2014 I wanted Zelda to be as opened ended and it is now.

    3. Have you tried Xenoblade ? Lots of people prefer it over Zelda.
      Zelda, Skyrim and Xenoblade are 3 huge games in less then a year… The first year of the console… This is pretty big !
      And some indie games deserve a shot too. The library is way bigger than people try to make it sound.

  1. Infinite Kalas X3, The Sonyendo King

    Each time Monster Hunter World stays in the top 10, the more I enjoy watching people squirm because they thought Monster Hunter was screwed on anything but a portable system. MH3 & MH4 will be outdone in the sales department soon enough.
