A game from almost 5 years ago best played online with people on a dying system? No, thanks. I’ll stick with World on PS4.

It’s not but I honestly don’t care about portable as I play my games at home regardless if it’s a handheld, Switch, or whatever. As for more content, 4U is, as I pointed out, older so of course it’s gonna have more content than the game that’s only been out for roughly a month.

        1. Even the base model before all the free dlc came out had more content. Regardless, the game is different from world, very much so, doesn’t make it any worse than world game.

You keep bringing up stuff I never said. I think you read a little too much into my original comment.

It’s not about the content but the fact that there probably isn’t much time left for the online servers for that game to stay active. It’s a 2013 game on a handheld that’s gonna be retired in the next year or 2 (maybe 3) and I won’t chance paying for a game where it’s biggest selling point could get shut down. Meanwhile, World is most likely going to keep it’s online support beyond that 2 or 3 years. (On a side note, I’ve been wanting a better looking Monster Hunter ever since Tri. Sick of the Wii graphics, honestly.)

                1. it came out in 2015 though.
Considering the servers for monster 3U on the wiiu are still up, and that being a 2013 release, I don’t think that 4U’s online is going anywhere within the next year or so.
