Square Enix’s long-awaited Project Octopath Traveler is heading to the Nintendo Switch this year but we haven’t been told exactly when it’s coming. Amazon Germany has recently listed the game with an August 17th release date. This makes some sense as it’s a Friday which is when Nintendo titles are generally released in Europe. Hopefully we get official word from Nintendo and Square Enix soon.

It’s not actually Amazon Germany listing it as August 17th. It’s a third-party seller on Amazon.

That’s just a third party seller.
But nevermind, let’s assume they accidentially put it up too early, that they wanted to announce this in a Direct this week, let’s get overly excited over nothing and crank the hype meter up to 11 again-
It took really long for a game that had a 2017 release.
They never said it was a 2017 game.
You are right, I thought wrongly so.
