The latest Media Create software and hardware sales figures are now in from Japan. It’s been another good week for the Nintendo Switch as it continues to outsell the PlayStation 4 by some margin. While there weren’t any big software releases for the platform this week, Kirby Star Allies is coming soon which should give it a nice boost. Here’s the best-sellers this week in Japan:

Does anyone know how big Kirby is in Japan as far as Nintendo franchises go? (Link me to some numbers if you can)
I don’t know numbers but I know Japan has opened Kirby themed restaurants. So that has to say something about the popularity of the franchise.
I’m thinking the base 2DS will get discontinued in Japan sooner than the other models. Those sales are crap.
Think about the support to the 3DS will end with the remastered version of Mario & Luigi Bowser inside story.
Personally, I hope that the last 3DS game is a 3D Zelda (either a sequel of Majora’s Mask or new but based on Ocarina and Majora’s) or a new 2D Zelda that have some similarities to Link’s Awakening just like A Link Between Worlds has similarities to A Link to the Past.
Improbably. The way how the show the 3DS games let me think that they aren’t going to support so much the 3DS after this year
So the difference between last week Switch sales and this week Switch sales is 1…. Hmmmm
Monster Hunter hype is dead, back to Dominating with Nintendo
