The Splatoon 2 Starter Edition is now available in stores. This special bundle of the popular Nintendo Switch game includes the full game, a 100-page Splatoon 2 strategy guide to equip you with skills to climb the competitive ranks and two sheets of Splatoon stickers, all at a suggested retail price of $59.99. That’s the same price as the standalone game, so this new Starter Edition adds even more value.
Whenever they do these bundles after the game comes out, it always makes me feel like I just should’ve waited instead of getting it on release day.
Yeah, it’s stupid. Nintendo knows that many of their consumers are collectors, so they do this in hope for double-sales.
I saw this in stores just today.
Luckily it’s only a guide and stickers included. Nothing much or worth the wait on purchase or even double dipping.
Aw, man. I’m so tempted even though I really shouldn’t be spending money on video games.
