We reported last night during the Sonic SXSW panel that SEGA is preparing to release a number of animated shorts called Sonic Mania Adventure. There will be around five episodes and they will be available to view on YouTube and other streaming services. The video shorts feature Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, and there won’t be any dialogue. Here’s a teaser video giving you a taste of what to expect.

SEGA’s finally doing something right for once. Really hope they stay with this classic retro style of Sonic for a while. Thankfully the comics are getting rebooted to a retro style. Hope the games keep this aspect for a while too.
