GameXplain has released a brand new video that gives us a little more insight into Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. The video compares Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on Switch to the original that was released on the Wii U. It is pretty clear that Nintendo gave the game a fresh coat of paint, as well as a graphics upgrade. Here’s the video:
i prefer the hyrule warriors game
}{ It looks like they just changed the weather from cloudy to sunny… Not that impressive… Of course, the game was never that impressive to begin with, so I suppose the status quo remains unchanged… }{
Its a pretty poor comparison vid tbh. Already seen ppl do actual comparisons of more than wht was shown and having the vid rendered in 60fps. So by the looks of it of tht other vid (not GameXplains) the game has: 1080p, possible increase in brightness? (noticed Link has been brightened a lil during the character select screen), framerate is alot more smooth than 30fps (game frequently dropped to 26fps on Wii U) so maybe unlocked framerate? and increased draw distance.
It just looks like the brightness was turned way up on the Switch version.
The Wii U version always felt dark and dismal but I never put my finger on it before. Brightening things up was really a good choice.
