Peripheral manufacturer GameTech is releasing a special comfortable illustration pen accessory for the Nintendo Switch. This will be a godsend for those who love sketching artwork in Splatoon 2. The illustration pen launched on April 20th in Japan.
- Coming from GameTech
- Designed with illustrators in mind for sketching artwork in Splatoon 2
- Comes with a transparent rubber disc attached to the tip of the pen for quick and comfortable drawing
- Tip of the pen can also be changed at any point of time
- Rubber grip to let users comfortably hold the pen
- Also compatible with smartphones
- Stylus doesn’t work with Nintendo 3DS or Wii U
- Launches April 20th, 2018 in Japan
This seems kinda pointless to market it like this considering there’s dozens of alternatives already on the market for phones that might even work better. Just kinda seems like they made a stylus for drawing and put the Switch next to it…
I know this sort of drawing. ATLAST A MIIVERSE SUCCESSOR IS COMING TO THE SWITCH. How good it’ll be to have these games more fun to play again and for us to meet gamers from around the world again, not to mention help games become more anticipated.
That would be nice, but the screenshot in this article is from Splatoon 2. You can create Miiverse style drawings in the game’s main plaza.
that screenshot is not directly from Splatoon 2 the UI is not the same
Mario Maker next I guess…

Sobasically an Adonit Jot Pro with “Switch” written on the box:
Adonit Jot Pro Fine Point Precision Stylus for iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle, Samsung, and Windows Tablets – Black (Previous Generation) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R33ZYCG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_IP7TAb1HJ6NVR
That being the case, if you plan on using this with your Switch GET A SCREEN PROTECTOR. I’ve used Adonit Jot on my phone and tablet before, and when a little dust particle got caught on the screen it etched some of the lines onto it. Luckily I took my own advice.
Yup same thing essentially, but 40 bucks cheaper lol
I can finally draw a “wang” in splatoon 2
Jk i don’t have a switch
How could it not work with 3DS, or Wii U? Anything works on those screens, their resistive tech, not compasative.
