Japan: GameTech Bringing Out Illustration Pen Accessory For Nintendo Switch

Peripheral manufacturer GameTech  is releasing a special comfortable illustration pen accessory for the Nintendo Switch. This will be a godsend for those who love sketching artwork in Splatoon 2. The illustration pen launched on April 20th in Japan.

  • Designed with illustrators in mind for sketching artwork in Splatoon 2
  • Comes with a transparent rubber disc attached to the tip of the pen for quick and comfortable drawing
  • Tip of the pen can also be changed at any point of time
  • Rubber grip to let users comfortably hold the pen
  • Also compatible with smartphones
  • Stylus doesn’t work with Nintendo 3DS or Wii U

  1. This seems kinda pointless to market it like this considering there’s dozens of alternatives already on the market for phones that might even work better. Just kinda seems like they made a stylus for drawing and put the Switch next to it…

  2. I know this sort of drawing. ATLAST A MIIVERSE SUCCESSOR IS COMING TO THE SWITCH. How good it’ll be to have these games more fun to play again and for us to meet gamers from around the world again, not to mention help games become more anticipated.

    1. That would be nice, but the screenshot in this article is from Splatoon 2. You can create Miiverse style drawings in the game’s main plaza.

    1. That being the case, if you plan on using this with your Switch GET A SCREEN PROTECTOR. I’ve used Adonit Jot on my phone and tablet before, and when a little dust particle got caught on the screen it etched some of the lines onto it. Luckily I took my own advice.
