Hasbro has announced that Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart Edition is available today in North America. The popular boardgame will be available at GameStop stores starting today for $24.99 and will arrive at other retailers this summer.
“Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart Edition will include four playable racers at launch: Mario, Princess Peach, Luigi and Toad. A “Power Pack” add-on will be released sometime this fall, which will add Bowser, Rosalina, Shy Guy, Metal Mario, Donkey Kong and Yoshi as playable characters.”

Do we really need this many Nintendo editions of Monopoly?
Do we really need this many **Super Mario** editions of Monopoly?* Fixed.
… Where’s Metroid? Zelda?
Getting it for Metal Mario.
Awww yeah boiii! Am saving up for this along with other video games to add to my ever-growing collection!
Something told me that the original Monopoly Gamer was just the beginning. Looks like I was right.
Now if only they’d branch off of the Mario series and do a Metroid and Zelda edition.
Even in board games based on Mario Kart they’re wasting character slots on reskins of Mario! Where’s Wario and Waluigi?
Also, doesn’t traditional Monopoly allow for 6 players?
