Firewatch Is Coming To Nintendo Switch Soon

The critically acclaimed indie title Firewatch by Campo Santo is coming to the Nintendo Switch this spring. The news was shared by the company on Twitter and is bound to please Nintendo Switch owners. We should get a release date for the Switch version soon.

“The year is 1989 and you’ve just taken a job deep in the Wyoming wilderness. Alone for the summer with nothing to do but spot fires, your supervisor Delilah is always just a call away on your radio—and as you’re pulled out of the tower into the dense forest below, she’s your only contact with the world you’ve left behind. Firewatch is an award-winning first-person narrative adventure available soon for your Nintendo Switch™. Imagine: The sounds of a babbling brook, a cool mountain breeze blowing through the timber. And in your hands, your trusty Nintendo Switch. This Spring, take your Nintendo Switch on an outdoor adventure and experience the gripping mystery beloved by gamers and critics alike.”

  1. Watched Markiplier play this game from start to finish this morning over 5 videos that were under an hour long. It’s a pretty story driven game with very little intense gameplay; nothing intense about this game at all, honestly. I’m definitely gonna buy it (on PS4) so I can play it myself as there are choices in the game that let you control some details about the game’s story’s progression. While Life is Strange has more intense gameplay moments, I’d definitely liken this game to it in a ton of areas with a great story, great music, great views/environments, and a lovely stylized artstyle.
