Splatoon 2 fans are inevitably looking forward to getting the upcoming Octo Expansion which is scheduled to be released this summer. Nintendo hasn’t announced an actual date, but today the official German Splatoon 2 Facebook page advertised the expansion as coming on July 13th. It sounds like we won’t have to wait too long for actual confirmation.
I think it would be cool if it came out on August 8th, but I wouldn’t be upset if it released sooner.
Falls in line with the amiibo release date, and it’s 8 days before the 1 year anniversary of the game, so this would make sense. Although with it being 3 months away, it makes you wonder just how much info we haven’t heard yet.
They’ve been posting tidbits of info and art for weeks and it feels like we’ve already gotten most of the content from the trailer explained that wouldn’t be spoilers, other than the Isopod of course.
