SEGA has confirmed that the Mega Drive Mini will be releasing this year. Just like the NES and SNES Mini, the Mega Drive Mini will have “multiple titles included” with it. We do not know what the titles are, and we don’t know how many there will be. However, we do know that this is an official product made by SEGA. Whenever SEGA announces more information, we’ll let you know.

Hoping? You should have hit up your local stores a while ago. The NES I had to get on eBay early on, but the SNES has routine stock. We actually ended up with an extra one.
I have 2 Super NES Classic minis. But I totally lucked out with both of them. For the second one, I just happened to be at Gamestop for another reason, and I noticed they had a couple on their counter behind the register. I’ve still NEVER seen any in stock ANYWHERE. Nintendo is obviously still not producing enough. It will probably be the same darn way when they ship more NES Classic Minis this summer. I’m sick of it being so hard to get these. Can’t even get any for gifts because they’re so hard to find.
Over here in germany the SNES Mini is easy to get. Pretty much every store, where you would expect those, has some lying around. Amazon too…

It’s not good news if it’s made really cheap like that other Sega Genesis plug & Play console. My brother has one of those, and MAN it’s crappy.
I see, I hope Sega consider that this is an opportunity to gain the trust of the people and that if this flops, more people will buy less things from Sega.
Yeah but that was made by like, Atgames, or something. This is an ACTUAL SEGA-made machine so that to me at least, makes a world of difference.

Lion King AND Aladdin. I play through those like once a year. Aladdin was what my folks got me for Christmas with the console :)

I’m not going to accept a post-boost-to-win-P&G future of the Sonic franchise. and I’m not going to give up on Sonic Adventure 3 (or something worthy of that title) ever becoming a reality that I can boot up on a console. Because it’s torture.
Even if I have form my own Adventure/Dreamcast equivalent of Team Headcannon, and pitch the idea to SEGA. Because aside from that, my only Sonic options are the IDW Sonic comic, Sonic Mania Plus, and the new Sonic racing game.
Please, SEGA, don’t create another piece of crap. Do it right, like Nintendo. Then i will buy it.

Just kidding, if they do this right, there are a lot of good Sega games that would make a mini console worth it. And if they pull it off well, then I just may need to get one. That is, of course, provided they are not as rare as an NES Mini is.
Eh, I think I’m good. I’ve got all the Master system and Genesis titles I need on my SNES MINI.
