The Minecraft Aquatic Update Will Be Last Major Update For Wii U Version

The official Minecraft blog has stated that the long-awaited Aquatic update will be the last major update for legacy consoles including the Wii U. Minecraft for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, mobile and Windows 10 will continue to receive all the new enhancements to the popular game after the Aquatic update. The company also says that “Switch players will receive a patch for the Update Aquatic once it releases and will also be able to install the new version of the game for free.”

  1. And thaaaaaat’s how you lose me as a costumer.
    The Wii U was one of the last plataforms to get that title, got it way later than everything else on the planet, incredibly, it was still an outstanding success despite that, aaaaand it’s already being cut as one of the first platforms to lose support from Mojang….
    Good job everybody, good job.

    1. The console’s dead dude. It’s discontiued and the people that still use theirs shrinks by the day.

        1. It is fully true. With how little is happening with the system it’s easy to assume the amount of active users shrinks by the day. There’s nothing coming for it.
