Japan: Famicom Mini Is Getting A Jump 50th Anniversary Edition With Different Games July 7th

Japanese consumers will soon be able to get their hands on another version of the incredibly popular Famicom Mini. This is the Jump 50th Anniversary Edition and will be released in Japan on July 7th. Oh, and it is also golden and priced at 7,980 yen. Here’s the games which are included pre-installed on the system:

  3. I wonder if the NES Classic re-release this summer will be something like this instead. A gold 5oth Anniversary edition with different games. But, 50th? The Famicom and NES hasn’t been around for 50 years yet. Unless I’m even older than I thought I was.

    1. It’s the 50th Anniversary for the magazine Shonen Jump. So all the titles are anime/manga based.
