Rumour: GameStop Displaying Nintendo Switch Display Cases For Black Ops 4

Black Ops 4 is coming later this year for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. A Nintendo Switch version of the game hasn’t been announced by Activision, but there is a reveal event taking place in three days time to the show the game to the world. North American retailer GameStop may have jumped the gun a little early as they have put up display cases for a Nintendo Switch version of Black Ops 4, it’s either that, or a store employee is trolling Nintendo Switch owners. We should find out in three days time.

  1. So… Activision would obviously make money from a Switch port, but on the other hand, it doesn’t make sense to not announce it if it releases with the other versions. So I’d say it’s just that the size of the cases are convenient.

    1. Most likely an employee had 3 empty switch case and printed out or cut some COD4 labels from an xbox or PS4 case and put them into the switch case.

    2. In fact if you look at the Y in the middle switch case, you can see the Y is almost to the edge, while the others are not.

  2. I doubt this… But then again, I’m pretty sure Activision Blizzard are planning something big for the Switch.. If they can deliver this game and Diablo 3, that would be enough.. I also heard Hearthstone was on the way… But I doubt that one.
