It is Monday which means it is time to see how the various software releases have performed in the United Kingdom. It has been a slow week for new releases but there are some huge games out there at the moment including Sony’s God of War for the PlayStation 4 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the Nintendo Switch. Talking of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, it has remained steady at number two, which is great news for Nintendo UK. Here’s the best-sellers this week:

That’s impressive to stay at number two for another week. I can understand some people being disappointed with Wii u games being ported if they’ve played them before but you can’t really argue when the sales are so good. Giving these games a second chance and being played by more people is definitely a good thing.
See if the Switch port of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze sold well, that means we’re going to see a new Donkey Kong 64 sequel made by Nintendo and Playtonic Games for the Switch! In the same vein as Super Mario Odyssey! Woo hoo!
