We reported a few days ago that The Legend of Zelda Master Works book is being localised and will be coming to North America in November courtesy of the team over at Dark Horse Comics. The team has officially confirmed it today and has shown off the cover art which has been illustrated by Takumi Wada who has also produced sketches and illustrations for the book. You can pre-order now on Amazon.
“This book features nearly 50 pages of sketches and official illustrations from Takumi Wada, 296 pages of design artwork and commentary about the making of the game from the creators, a 55-page historical section that divulges the history of Hyrule as it is known in-game, and interviews with key members of the development team— Hidemaro Fujibayashi, Satoru Takizawa, Takumi Wada, and Eiji Aonuma. Witness the making of a champion! The breathtaking cover is by Takumi Wada.”
As much as I love Zelda, I think Ninty need to stop rolling on with botw now put effort and all into other things
Indeed. Time to move on. BotW is old news now.
Breath of the Wild may be the most revolutionary Zelda for quite a few years and I think in the future it may be really interesting for collectors, so releasing this content isn’t bad idea. Also, I don’t think it takes that much human resources to make such artbook.
Nooooooooooo, finally a decent and good art book!
Why does this cover remind me of the Fire Emblem Awakening box art
DAMNIT, now I want a BoTW and Fire emblem spin-off crossover or something !!!
A botw and awakening crossover would be amazing… lol now I want it.
I was thinking the same thing. It’s probably because all of the weapons are pointed in the same direction.
